The Rane FOUR features an exclusive Stem Split capability, allowing advanced control over Serato Stems functionality.
This feature will split the currently loaded track into an acapella, which is always sent to channel 1 or 2, and instrumental, which is always sent to channel 3 or 4.
If you are experiencing issues with Stem Split not behaving as it should, this guide will assist you in troubleshooting.
Start by confirming the LEVEL knobs on the corresponding channels you are using with Stem Split are set to the same volume as shown below.
Also confirm the USB/Line Source Selection switches are set to USB and not Line as shown below.
It would also help to make sure your crossfader assignment switches are set correctly.
Now you are ready to use Stem Split!
